Announcing Form Locations for Gravity Forms

Manage your Form’s Locations in your site’s content

Have you ever gone to update, replace, or delete a Gravity Form, only to stop and ask yourself: “Wait, what pages is this form actually embedded on?” For anyone managing a growing WordPress website, keeping track of where individual forms live can quickly become a guessing game. That is why we are thrilled to announce our newest plugin: Form Locations for Gravity Forms.

Built by CrossPeak Software, this lightweight and powerful add-on takes the guesswork out of form management by showing you exactly where your forms are being used across your entire website.

Here is everything you need to know about the new plugin.

What Does It Do?

Form Locations for Gravity Forms is an add-on that automatically scans your WordPress site’s pages and posts to find exactly where each of your Gravity Forms is embedded.

It seamlessly detects forms placed through:

  • The standard [gravityforms shortcode
  • The Gravity Forms Gutenberg block
  • Post meta fields

Once the plugin completes its scan, it adds a brand-new “Form Locations” tab directly into your individual Gravity Forms settings. Clicking this tab gives you a comprehensive list of every location the form appears, including the post title, the post type, the method used to embed it (shortcode or block), and whether the page is published or a draft.

Who Can Use It?

This plugin is a must-have tool for:

  • Site Administrators & Owners: Keep your site organized and maintain a clear overview of your lead generation and contact funnels.
  • Agency Developers: Hand over cleaner, more manageable sites to clients so they don’t accidentally break live pages when editing forms.
  • Marketers: Quickly audit which landing pages are utilizing which forms for campaigns.

System Requirements:

To run the plugin, your environment will need:

  • WordPress 6.3 or higher
  • PHP 7.1 or higher
  • Gravity Forms 2.5 or higher

Why Should You Use It?

1. Prevent Costly Mistakes

Before you delete a form or make massive changes to its fields, you can instantly check the “Form Locations” tab to see which live pages will be affected. No more broken landing pages or missing contact forms!

2. Real-Time Tracking

You don’t need to manually scan your site every time you add a form. After the initial background scan, the plugin automatically updates your form locations in real-time whenever a post or page is saved or deleted.

3. Optimized for Performance

Worried about the scan slowing down your site? Don’t be. The plugin uses Action Scheduler for highly efficient, background processing so your initial site scan won’t interrupt your daily operations or site speed. You can also manage your global scan status and manually trigger re-scans straight from the Gravity Forms Global Settings menu.

How to Get Started

Getting started is incredibly simple:

  1. Install and activate the plugin on your WordPress site.
  2. Navigate to Gravity Forms > Settings > Form Locations and click “Re-scan Now” to initiate your first automated sweep.
  3. Open any Gravity Form, navigate to the Form Locations tab, and instantly see everywhere your form lives!
