Form Locations for Gravity Forms is an add-on that automatically scans your WordPress website to pinpoint exactly where each of your Gravity Forms is embedded. It creates a dedicated “Form Locations” tab in your individual form settings so you can see every post, page, and widget where the form lives.
The plugin is designed to find your forms no matter how you build your pages. It detects forms embedded via:
– The standard gravityform shortcode
– The Gravity Forms Gutenberg block
– Standard WordPress widget areas
– Post meta (such as Advanced Custom Fields or theme-specific metadata)
No! The plugin is built with performance in mind. The site scanner utilizes Action Scheduler to handle the scanning process efficiently in the background. This ensures that your server performance and page load speeds remain completely unaffected while the plugin does its work.
No, manual re-scanning is only needed the first time you activate the plugin. Once the initial background scan is complete, the plugin automatically tracks real-time updates. Whenever a post, page, or widget is saved or deleted, your form locations will automatically update.
To view a form’s locations, simply navigate to your Gravity Forms list and edit the specific form you want to check. Click on the Form Locations tab within the form’s settings, and you will see a comprehensive list of all the pages and posts where that form appears.
Once you have installed and activated the plugin, go to Gravity Forms > Settings > Form Locations in your WordPress dashboard. Click the “Re-scan Now” button to start scanning your site.
To ensure the plugin runs smoothly, your website environment must meet the following requirements:
– WordPress 6.3 or higher
– PHP 7.1 or higher
– Gravity Forms 2.5 or higher
