Needed to encrypt some important data from our forms and this addon just did the job, well done.
This was the only software that provided all the features needed including BOTH field encryption AND file encryption whilst at rest for Gravity Forms uploaded files – and it does a great job! We have testing on both Unix and Windows environments and it works well. Fields and (more importantly for us) files (including filenames) are encrypted on disk at form submission. Setup is simple, secure encryption, and seamless decryption on the fly on viewing/download through the application. Highly Recommended.
We had some clients that wanted to request personally identifiable information on a form and we felt uneasy about having that data stored on our servers and with this plugin we were able to encrypt those fields so that the information is not stored in the database easily visible.
Matt is awesome. I’ve had a problem with the GF Encrypt plugin after a site migration, affecting lots of users. Matt jumped-in and less than an hour later, we had a new release of the plugin fixing the bug. Really great support. Thanks a lot!
The plugin itself seems to do the job. We wanted to encrypt the age and name of children on our booking site. Initially the plugin broke our site, but after a quick email exchange, CrossPeak helped us sort the issue.
